Timiskaming First Nation
La Première Nation de Timiskaming, voisine de la municipalité de Notre-Dame-du Nord, s’investit depuis 4 ans dans le développement de la filière des produits forestiers non ligneux. Le 19 janvier dernier, The Wild Basket, une entreprise de la communauté dédiée à la récolte et la transformation, dévoilait leurs premières eaux gazéifiées, infusées au sumac et framboises ainsi qu’au thé du labrador.
The Algonquins of Timiskaming First Nation, near the municipality of Notre-Dame-du Nord, has been investing for the last 4 years in the non-timber forest products sector. On January 19, The Wild Basket, a local community venture dedicated to harvesting and processing, unveiled their first carbonated waters, infused with sumac and raspberries as well as Labrador tea.
