Who we are The website www.lasdt.com and our online services site [Odoo site address] are jointly operated by the Société de développement du Témiscamingue (SDT) and the SADC du Témiscamingue (SADCT), two separate organizations offering unified services. Each is responsible for the personal information it collects in the course of its activities.

This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal information obtained through these two websites. Personal information is any information that concerns a natural person and allows that person to be identified, directly or indirectly.

Information collected and purposes

• Newsletter: your name and email address, to send you our news and relevant information, and to compile mailing statistics. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of each email. Our mailings comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
• Information request form (Odoo site): your contact information and the subject of your request, to respond to it and follow up on our exchanges. This information is recorded in our customer relationship management software and is accessed only by the team members concerned. It is not used to subscribe you to the newsletter without your consent.
• Browsing on www.lasdt.com: pages viewed, visit duration, device and browser type, approximate geographic location. This data is used to manage the site and measure its audience through Google Analytics, integrated by the MonsterInsights plugin. It is presented as aggregate statistics and is not used to identify you.
• Browsing on our Odoo site: country of origin, visit dates and pages viewed. If you complete the information request form, this data is linked to your request in our customer relationship management software to better understand your needs and respond to them.

Cookies Our websites use cookies that are necessary for them to function. On www.lasdt.com, cookies are also used to measure audience through Google Analytics. On our Odoo site, they allow a visitor to be recognized from one visit to the next. You may refuse them using the banner displayed on your first visit, or delete them at any time in your browser settings. Some features may then be limited.

Disclosure and hosting We do not sell any personal information. Only our service providers have access to it, and only to the extent necessary for their services:

• the website www.lasdt.com is hosted in Québec;
• our Odoo site, the information request form, the customer relationship management software and the newsletter are hosted by Odoo on servers located in Canada, outside Québec;
• browsing data from www.lasdt.com is processed by Google, including in the United States.

Retention and security Information is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes stated, then securely destroyed. We apply physical, administrative and technological security measures appropriate to its sensitivity.

Your rights You may at any time:

• access your personal information and request its correction;
• withdraw your consent to its use;
• request that it be provided to you in a structured, commonly used technological format;
• request that its dissemination cease or that it be de-indexed, in the cases provided for by law.

To exercise these rights, write to the person in charge of the protection of personal information. We will respond in writing within 30 days of receiving your request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Reporting a confidentiality incident If you believe that personal information has been accessed, used or disclosed without authorization, or has been lost, please contact the person in charge without delay using the contact information above.
